Careers

Our team has a history of creating games with a surprising twist – something special which separates it from the pack. Whether leaning on our expertise in motion control for games like Steven Spielberg’s BOOM BLOX, or creating the family-friendly Carnival Island, all of our games feature a common element – moments of wonder and a twist of the unexpected.

We are a small team that takes on big challenges. We’ve created a team culture that is far greater than the sum of its parts – each member makes a very real contribution to the game, and awesome ideas can come from anyone. We harness the energy of the indie developer and distill the best parts into everything we build.

Since our team is small, everyone is asked to wear multiple hats and we play to each other’s strengths. Our ideal teammate is someone who is fully invested in the game vision, and is involved far more than someone who’s just checking tasks off a task list. We’ve built a fantastic environment to learn and grow. We love what we do, and would expect the same from you.

Come join us and create the next generation of games that will bring fresh experiences to the table. We’re now recruiting to build our team for the next round, something totally different, refreshing and new. We need fresh minds and ideas to help us put fun on your screen, big and small. We are MAGIC PIXEL GAMES, based in Los Angeles near the airport – and we are looking for:
